Minisite Education
By mini Site I mean a website with a total of six to twelve pages of content. This website is a mini site The total number of words will be about the same as you probably had to write when you did a paper in high school or college. I like this format because there is enough space to go into interesting detail about your subject without having to deal with the complexities of a larger project. In particular I find a mini site:
Note: this site is "benefiting" from the mini site philosophy of publish now and polish later. I have not edited the pages, some pages are missing or incomplete, and there is lots of work to be done. However, I will publish it as is and let the search engines find it. Search engine "spiders" aren't very smart and don't notice the lack of polish. As I revisit the site they will notice that pages get added and content increases. With a little luck my completion of the writing and editing will happen at the same time as traffic begins to build. Of course, it no one is interested and traffic never builds, I won't have wasted time polishing work that will never sell. If lots of people find it quickly and think it contains good stuff I will start to get emails telling me I am an idiot who never learned to spell. That will motivate me to dedicate more time to editing the pages.
